G'day,
Have a bit of an issue where a small bit of concrete was originally cracked out, but has now got larger and larger due to water running down. What is the best way to repair this to return it to a state that looks good.
Cheers!
Hello @JimWhite2035
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your concrete door-step.
I suggest removing all of the weeds and loose sand and soil in the vicinity. Clean the area as best as possible with a broom or bristle brush. I propose using https://www.bunnings.com.au/dingo-10kg-mortar-mix_p0760516 in combination with https://www.bunnings.com.au/craftright-150mm-pointing-trowel_p0924471 . Your objective is to push as much of the mortar into the gaps to totally fill it up. Once filled, make sure to apply the mortar on the damaged sections of the floor to level them up.
My best advice is to check your weather app to make sure that you have a few days of sunshine when doing the repairs.
Make sure to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and a mask.
