What clear sealant is food safe for glass cabinet?

Does anyone know any clear silicone sealant that’s food safe?
At work, we have a glass cabinet that’s designed to display food but there are gaps between the sides that’s big enough for fruit flies to get into. We want to use a bit of sealant to seal these gaps but it has to be food safe.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

If you were sealing a surface where food preparation was being carried out and raw food was going to be in direct contact with it, you'd want to look for specialist food grade products, however this application doesn't sound like this is necessary.

If you're simply sealing a surface that is around the outside of the item and food won't come into direct contact with the sealant, then a standard clear silicone suitable for that application will be fine.

For this type of application, this https://www.bunnings.com.au/parfix-300g-clear-window-and-glass-silicone_p1232682 should be fine. Just make sure you allow it to fully cure according to the manufacturer's instructions before using the area again.
