The project:
Bathroom renovation inspired by our Spanish holiday, with our own twist!
We set out to future-proof our only bathroom at home: no more bathtub for safer access, grab rails for ageing family and friends who visit, and underfloor heating. We sourced many 10cmx10cm wall tiles in various colours from several Bunnings outlets spanning central Victoria to the northern suburbs of Melbourne.
Demolition to completion took four months. The shower alone comprises 1,750 tiles, cut at specific angles which were calculated to fit the arc of each circle. Our labour of love! Thanks, Bunnings!
