How to clean white slurry stains off red brickwork pavers?

I recently had some tradies come and fill a void at my house with grouting and cement slurry. In the process they left these white bootprints and marks all over my driveway. I've tried hosing it off, but it doesn't remove it. Any suggestions as to how I can restore my red brick driveway to its original appearance without damaging the bricks?

You should be able to remove the white slurry staining with a combination of mechanical cleaning and a suitable brick cleaner.

I'd start by giving the affected areas a good scrub with a stiff-bristled brush like this https://www.bunnings.com.au/oates-long-handle-deck-scrub-brush_p4460246 to remove as much of the dried material as possible, then hosing down to remove the particulate matter that is lifted.

For what's left behind, I'd suggest using https://www.bunnings.com.au/chemtech-1l-brick-tile-and-paver-cleaner_p0964678 . It's specifically designed to remove mortar and slurry stains from brick, so it should be well suited to this situation.

I'd recommend testing it on a small, inconspicuous section first to ensure you're happy with the result. Follow the dilution and application instructions on the bottle closely, work in manageable sections and thoroughly rinse the area with clean water afterwards.

Keep in mind that this is an acid-based cleaner, so appropriate PPE is important. Wear chemical-resistant gloves, safety glasses, enclosed footwear and suitable protective clothing, and take care to prevent the cleaner or runoff from contacting surrounding plants, metals or other surfaces.
