Hi Team, reaching out in the hope in finding a cost-effective way to repair chips I have on my ceramic floor tiles. Some chips are not that deep, while I have one or two which are quite so. There are no cracks. Thanking you in advance.
Hello @Weet
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your tiled floor.
We've had a few discussions about tile repair, and I suggest having a quick look at the suggested repair options - How to repair chips in porcelain tiles of shower floor? by @Wazza99 and How to repair chip in shower stall tile? by @Coolaholigah along with How to repair chipped floor tile? by @ecam.
I often suggest using https://www.bunnings.com.au/pc-11-56g-white-epoxy-paste_p1560098 and painting the surface to match. It will need to be touched up from time to time as the paint eventually wears off. My best advice is to mix only what you need to fill the damage and give the paste enough time to cure before sanding the surface down. Please do not mix paint products into the epoxy paste as it will compromise its mixture.
Please remember to wear personal protection such as gloves and goggles.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
