Hi, I would like some advice as to how I can repair a rusting vent pipe at the back of my home. It's a thin metal pipe that seems to have been rolled from a flat sheet, then crimped to seal into a cylinder. It has rusted along the seal, resulting in it separating and opening up, allowing smelly fumes to escape. Is there a product that could seal, then be painted over, such as some sort of tape? (Apologies for the slightly blurry photos, it's very close to the wall).
Thanks in advance.
