How to install Pfeiffer adjustable flyscreen?

I’ve bought x2 of these, 1x locks into position easily and doesn’t slide down once installed.
the other one however kept dropping down once installed, it can’t stay up. I’ve exchanged it twice but still keep getting the same problem.

is there a lock I’m missing, to keep it in place?

or, did I luck out and get x1 good one , and keep getting x3 not so good ones?

Attached is a pic of the good functioning one. It doesn’t need to be closed in, in order to stay in place

whilst the others keep dropping down, even when closed in.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your adjustable flyscreen.

That is indeed a bit of a mystery. I'm not sure why the mechanism is not holding the second section up as it should. I can only suggest bringing the faulty product back to the store for an exchange. However, before leaving the store, I suggest opening the new flyscreen package in front of the customer service team and testing it to make sure that it does not slide down. Once you've tested it and it functions properly you can then take it home and install on your door.
