When I bought my house there was no way (except from the laundry) to enjoy the back of my house and the view over the national park. It was north facing and led down to the pool (see previous post). Ir was a narrow path and was only used to hang out washing.
Now there is a wide deck, a cabana (with a fan) and an eating area. I also had glass fencing installed and I recently hosted our street party. It easily held 30+ adults and I was thrilled that I now have a great entertaining area tand with a bi-fold door to the inside it was definitely worth doing.
I used eco-decking from Bunnings and rattan furniture. It looks a million bucks.
