It can be hard to keep kids entertained during school holidays- even more so given our current situation! One idea to help keep them entertained is building them a DIY car track. I made this using MDF for the top(track), pine for the table. I found plenty of pictures online searching City or town clip art etc. i did use primer on the MDF which also helped seal and protect. Then used normal craft paint. Great thing with this is I am able to use the room underneath for storage for the cars or other toys. L: 1.2m H: 60cm D 45cm (this height suited my youngest so he could stand but his older sisters are able to sit on chairs to play comfortably).
Love it @Tara86 and I'm sure the kids do to! Many thanks for sharing. I'm sure this will inspire plenty of community members to build something similar.
