bamboo privacy fence

I’m looking at installing some rolled bamboo privacy screens to a colour bond fence to give it some more height.

Can anyone advise on a simple solution? The first though that came to my mind was screw some wood at the top and bottom of the fence and then screw the bamboo to the wood.

Trying to keep budget low.
