Monitor stand

I made a monitor stand, from a single slab of wood, and using a biscuit joiner and glue.

I am not to sure what type of wood it is but I think is some type of  hardwood,

I used the biscuit joiner to make the inlays on the side to add strength and a feacher

A super little project..

The design is very contemporary and innovative thinking to add the inlays providing strength. I really like the live edge timber you're working with and would like to complete a similar project in the future.
