Hi All
i patched a section of wall where we had screws attached for a laminate benchtop.
I painted the wall with new color but the patch is visible.
think I have done it wrongly . Any suggestion how to fix this ?
Updated photos marking the area
Hello @ron3alex
Thank you for sharing your question about repairing your wall patch.
Looking at the photos you posted, I suggest using the Builders Edge 220 x 80mm DIY Plaster Hand Sander. This will give you a flat finish and will level the patch with the wall. I recommend using Flexovit 115mm x 1m 120 Grit Painted Surface Sandpaper Roll to remove the top surface of the patch. Once it is level, use Flexovit 100mm x 1m 240 Grit Painted Surface Sandpaper Roll to give it a smooth flat finish. Make sure to wipe the wall clean of dust and debris with a clean rag before painting the surface. Please keep us updated, any photos you can provide while repairing the patch would be much appreciated.

Hi .@ron3alex
Here is a Bunnings link on how to repair plaster wall damage. .@Jason answered in a previous post. You could try sanding the area with a sanding block and sandpaper, then finish coat the area with finishing plaster using a wide spatula and repaint, with undercoat/sealer and two coats of finish paint.
