We converted our standard double doors into some sliding barn doors this weekend.
Added some 6mm MDF and routed some vertical recess for additional decor. Then used some old skirting for additional decor.

Thank you so much for sharing your barn door project. Did you have to special order that long track for the doors or did you just join two together? It's a great alternative to standard swinging doors as it now lets you utilize all of the floor space. Any building tips about this project you would like to share would be much appreciated. If you have any other projects on the go, please keep us updated.
