It is too late to prune my lavender now? What should I do?
Hello @charlotte1
Thank you so much for sharing your question about pruning your lavender.
The general practice for pruning Lavender is usually before winter. However, this is not a fixed rule, Lavander as a plant is very forgiving, and they are very hardy. Removing dead branches and clearing the bottom of the plant of debris to promote airflow is always good. Over-pruning is not recommended, trimming off the old outer branches and leaving the fresh blooms should be sufficient.

Hi @charlotte1 definitely needs a haircut...If you are past any frosty weather or it's in a sheltered spot then yes, prune it now. One thing with pruning lavender though is never go below the last leaves as it's unlikely to re-shoot if you do..
