How to repair bay window curtain rail?

Question

My bay window curtain rail has fallen down and I need to know how to get it back up securely. I need to know what accessories are needed to put it up again. ie hooks and screws. It is a runner curtain

Would it be possible for you to post a photo of the wall and the rail you're trying to fix? This will give us a better idea of the material you are drilling into and allow us to give you a comprehensive recommendation. Do you also need to repair the wall as well? We can also help with that if you need advice and information.

For example:

* If you are drilling into masonry you can use Flexi Storage 35mm Masonry And Timber Plugs And Screws - 20 Pack. 
* If you are mounting on to plasterboard you can use Ramset 16mm Hollow Wall Anchor - 4 Pack.
* If you are mounting directly to the stud behind the plasterboard Zenith 8G x 40mm Brass Plated Hinge-Long Threads.
