How to hang a mirror on the wall?

Hi, I have bought a large round 80cm mirror that I think weighs about 5 kg and also around it a 20 mm edging around the

outside  I am not sure how to hang it as it is going to be hung on a hardwood ply interior, what do I need to buy for this to be hung so it does not fall off the wall, cheers Rebecca

What type of hanging mechanism is on the back of it, perhaps string or a hook? How thick is the hardwood ply it is going to be hung on? With these extra details, I trust our helpful community members will have plenty of suggestions on how you can hang your mirror, so it doesn't fall off the wall.
