This D.I.Y. side table was created using three pieces of MDF covered in Oak dowels.

The project
To create this table, I cut two straight pieces of MDF for the bottom and one half curved piece for the top.


I covered the table in Oak dowels and used jute rope around the half-circle trim.

I finished with a satin water-based clear wood varnish. The end result exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be happier with how it looks.
