can I paint merbau wood - specifically 

SpecRite 600mm 26mm Round Timber Panel Merbau FJ Laminated

I want to use it as a floor base for a grinder stand

Yes, the SpecRite 600mm 26mm Round Timber Panel Merbau FJ Laminated can be painted. The same basic rules apply to painting this type of timber. 

• Make sure to remove any tags or staples from the product.
• Sand the round panel as thoroughly as possible.
• Choose your primer and paint to apply.
• Choose an ideal location where the panel will not be touched or exposed to dust debris in any manner.
