This creative kids toy car track doubles as a toy storage unit to keep a bedroom, play room or living area tidy.
The project
I made this D.I.Y. car track to keep my kids entertained during school holidays using MDF for the top and Pine for the table. I found plenty of pictures online to use around the track by searching city or town clip art. I primed the MDF and then used craft paint to create the city and landscape.
The great thing is I am able to use the space underneath for storage for cars or other toys. The piece measures 1.2m long, 45cm deep and 60cm high. This height suits all my children as my youngest can stand while his older sisters sit on chairs to play comfortably.
