How would I add a hand held shower to my current shower? What do I need to buy? I've attached a photo of of my shower. Thanks for your time
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @NANNY1. It's wonderful to have you join us and many thanks for your question on replacing a shower head.
It appears that a handheld shower may have been installed there previously, which is indicated by the vertical rail on the right-hand side of the wall. This rail would normally hold the handheld shower head and allow you to adjust its height. At some stage, this setup seems to have been removed and replaced with a standard shower arm and fixed shower head. The easiest option now, unless you would like to install another vertical rail system, would be to use a handheld shower kit that connects directly to the wall outlet where the current shower arm is attached. A product such as the Estilo 3 Function Hand Shower WELS 3 Star 9L/min would work well for this, as it fixes to the wall outlet and includes a hose and handheld shower head, making it a simple replacement option without needing to reinstall a full rail system.
Here's a helpful step-by-step guide: How to change a shower head.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Mitchell. Thanks for your help can I have both shower heads on if so do I need to buy a water disributon valve
Hi @Nanny1, That would be a bit difficult to setup, so instead, I'd recommend replacing the existing shower head with an Estilo Chrome 3 Function 1/2 Twin Rail Shower Set. That will give you the rain shower head and a handset.
