Hello! How would I go about patching this wall? Brick house.
Also can I colour match the wall paint somehow?
Thanks!
Hello @diynewbie1
Thank you for sharing a picture of the wall that needs to be fixed. The suggested general steps are to clean the surface of the area and removing any loose debris on the surface. I suggest using a https://www.bunnings.com.au/sabco-flow-through-round-dish-brush-with-antibacterial-action-bristles_p4460401 . Once the surface is clean, I suggest using https://www.bunnings.com.au/polyfilla-500g-exterior-brick-and-render-masonry_p1210565 to fill the damage on the wall. I recommend using a https://www.bunnings.com.au/trojan-150mm-pointing-trowel_p0551194 to spread and level the patch. Your goal is to give it a smooth level finish so that it blends in with your wall.
In regard to the paint matching, I suggest taking a small chip section of the wall, if possible, about the size of a 10C coin. If you can't get a chip off the wall, I suggest visiting your local store and grabbing a handful of colour sample cards from the paint department. Bring them home and see if you can find a similar colour to your wall. My best advice is to tell the paint specialist if you are painting inside or outside.
