How do I remove or bypass a Remote Control from an Arlec ceiling fan?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @thomasmentzel42. It's fantastic to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about ceiling fans.
Could you let us know a little more about why you’re looking to remove the remote control — is it not functioning properly, or are you wanting to bypass it altogether? To remove or bypass the remote, you’d likely need an electrician to hardwire a separate wall control into place. In many cases, though, it can actually work out cheaper and simpler to have an electrician install an entirely new remote-controlled ceiling fan instead, as running the controller cable would be more work for them. Please let me know if you have any questions.Mitchell
