How to treat pallets for termites?
hi all, I have seen quite a few really good ideas to re-use. timbers pallets however given I live in Qld termites/white ants are a problem for outdoor furniture ...is there an easy way I can get pallet timbers treated to protect against this threat? thanks in advance.

Raised treated timber planter box
Here are photos of a recently completed planter box. It measures 2000mm x 550mm (W) x 400mm (H). Used 100mm timber screws and glue to secure. I pre-drilled all holes to prevent unwanted splitting. Now to line the inside walls.

Timber workbench
Hi all, I am a complete newcomber and this timber workbench is my first major project. Last night it was "repurposed" as a party table for my daughters 21st. It is a workbench and I still haven't found an acceptable vice to attach just yet. It measures 1800 in length x 800depth x 920 height. A good working height for me.
