Hello!
I have a space that is 1800mm wide with a wall on each side. I want to install an 1800mm shaving cabinet but due to space constraints, availability and logistics it would be much more convenient to install 2 x 900mm cabinets.
I was thinking of 2 x https://www.bunnings.com.au/mondella-900mm-white-rococo-2-door-mirrored-shaving-cabinet_p0181394
Can these butt again each other and the wall on either side or would I need to allow space for the hinges to work? I hope this makes sense, to rephrase my question do these cabinets measure more than 900mm with the doors open at 90 degrees or do the hinges open within the casing?
Cheers
Hi @ReluctantDYI,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
I have spoken with a colleague in-store who has checked and confirmed that, unfortunately, the doors open slightly proud of the side walls of the cabinet.
This would, unfortunately, mean you could not use them side by side in this situation.
Perhaps you could use one of the Mondella Rococo 1200mm White 3 Door Mirrored Shaving Cabinets instead.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Jacob
