Ensuite makeover using Acacia boards

We have small ensuite that was very dated however had some nice neutral tiles and usable pieces so we decided to recycle as much as we could and renovate within those goals.

Step 1

Strip the old cabinet doors and all shelves

Patch holes in paneling 

Paint paneling 

Cut cabinet doors and benchtops out of Acacia boards 

Connect new basin and taps 

replace shower taps

replace toilet seat.

Did you hide the toilet's cistern inside that custom cabinet?

If so, that is a really nice finish, which really shows how well thought out your project was.

Yes we did as we wanted to keep the tiles and breaking out the old toilet would mean we have to redo the tiles. We just replaced the seat with new soft close.
