How to add a toilet in a laundry?

The house has 4 bedrooms, but 1 bathroom, 1 toilet. The original plan layout is attached.
I am looking into adding another toilet WC.

The current laundry room is small with cupboard hanging on top (see photo).

Therefore, I am thinking to add the WC at the blue marker area by collapsing the existing cup board

I am looking for suggestion from the forum for better idea (in terms of cost-effective if closer to the waste system or better house value).

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about adding a WC in your laundry space.

I propose doing some measurements in your laundry area. A typical toilet suite will require a minimum space of 800 W x 700 L, plus an extra 300mm for leg space. Looking at the photos you posted it appears that there is enough room to install one in that corner in front of your dryer. I would also check if there is enough room for the door to swing open. Another option would be to install it in your main bathroom where the vanity is and move the vanity to the side of the bath. I then suggest moving the door to the hallway for more space.

Going through your rooms, I am thinking that your laundry wont have enough space afterwards to be fully functional. @EricL's second option, especially with shifting the door to the hallway I do think is a possibility, It may also be easier for the sewer pipes to be worke don at the rear of the house. The only issue may be the width you end up with between the hand basin and walkway as you eneter and exit the room.

Yes, I also think your proposed solution makes more sense.

install it in the main bathroom at the vanity
move the existing vanity to the side
move the door to hallway

Assuming the sewer pipe is nearby the existing toilet. Can you please provide the rough cost estimation for the above tasks. Thank you.
