I have recently purchased my first home and have noticed that both tiled showers do not have any silicone or sealant around where the floor meets the wall (see attached images) is this something that should be of concern?
House is approx 20 years old. Thank you
Hello @jarrodvasso
Upon closer observation of the photos, it appears that the former owner used grout instead of a silicone sealer where the floor and wall tiles meet. It is possible to place a silicone sealer over that spot. I suggest using Selleys 300g White Wet Area Waterproof Silicone Sealant.
Here is a handy step-by-step guide: How To Silicone Seal A Bath (the techniques used are applicable to your project)
