Hello all
I have a problem with all 3 toilets in the house (purchased from Bunnings for a near complete house renovation). All 3 toilets when flushing almost all the water shoots into the bowl, missing the back (and not putting much around the front and sides to be honest), resulting in the toilet paper to not flush away, and the back of the toilet bowl to still retain slot of the "matter". You really need to do a good 2-3 flushes to clear the back and be rid of the paper!
Any thoughts?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @gavmess. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about toilet flushes.
That does sound quite unusual. While modern toilets are definitely more water-efficient, they should still be able to clear all waste—including toilet paper—effectively in a single flush. The flush should also distribute water evenly around the bowl, hitting the sides, front, and back to ensure proper cleaning.
Would you be able to let us know the make and model of the toilets you installed? That'll help us look into the flushing design and see if there’s a known issue or adjustment that might help.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
Oops apologies Mitchell, I thought they were but looking at the info they were Ostar units:

Yes it's quite odd - you can really see the water hardly pushes with force on the bowl - luckily we have a bidet hose to "remove offensive extras", but it's something that shouldn't need to be done!
Hello @gavmess
I'm sorry, but I am unfamiliar with the BELLEVUE toilet suite. The only general suggestion I can make is to adjust and increase the water level inside the cistern. Perhaps with the increased water content the flush will be more comprehensive. Otherwise, I suggest contacting the supplier of your toilet suite and asking them if there are any adjustments that can be made to your toilet suite.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
