Hi, I recently bought the
|
and now need to attach it to the water supply.
I've removed the old shower head, but the new shower hose attachment doesn't fit to the
(see photo attached). Do I need another part to connect the two, and is so, which part.
Thanks,
Angus
Hello @AngusMacaskill
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your shower head.
Your shower fitting is very similar to my own. I suggest having a quick look at this guide - How to change a shower head. This will give you a very good idea of how to remove the rest of your shower fitting. Your shower head is composed of three parts, the head, the arm and the wall fitting. You've managed to remove two of three, the remaining part which is the wall fitting is still attached and must be removed. Once removed you'll see the threaded wall fitting on your wall.
You mentioned that you are attaching a shower hose to the wall, did it come with any other fitting? If not, I suggest looking at the Estilo WELS 3 Star 9L/min Chrome 3 Function Hand Shower Set as a possible alternative.
