ensuite bifold doors are aged - changing shower screen - looking at narrower fixed panel in shower screen -
Q: are there any 3 fold panel folding doors for ensuite entry- so I can have a less deep fold, i know 3 panels means more ingress into opening width so are there any thinner than 35mm door panel options???.
I am not keen on PVC concertina look -
I was told a barn door cannot slide over a light switch plate-
I think inside wall sliding door too expensive an option but would be interested to know more
Hello @RetroMeg
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your shower door.
I'm sorry but the store currently does not stock retro fittable 3 panel folding doors for shower enclosures. In this particular instance, I suggest engaging the services of a professional shower installer. They might be able to suggest a triple door set that will work with your current shower.
My other suggestion is to explore the possibility of installing a larger shower that has a sliding door option such as the Rick McLean's Bathware 1170mm Black Frameless Shower Screen With Sliding Door. From an installation point of view, retro fitting a new door can be an expensive option and could cost almost as much as new shower installation. Please keep this in mind when choosing your options.

hi Erik
you misunderstood - it is not the shower door it is the ensuite entrance door I want to make smaller depth into the room - but i think i will change to a barn door instead as i can get electrician to move light and fan switches to bedroom side of wall- cheaper than custom trifold timber doors - then my new shower screen can have a narrower fixed panel on the room entrance door side
Hello @RetroMeg
My apologies for the misunderstanding. If you are thinking about using a barn door there are a number of styles available from Corinthian and Hume doors. You can also order these doors custom size if you wish for them to be bigger. In regards to the light switch, I suggest speaking to a licensed electrician to find out what the regulations are when sliding barn doors cover light switches. But as you mentioned your new shower screen can then have a narrower fixed panel.
