How to change taps to a mixer?

Hi guys, I’m new-ish to the DIY game for my new place and want to embark on changing these taps to a mixer one and a handheld shower head. I’ve seen the Quoss one around https://www.bunnings.com.au/quoss-reno-transformer-freestyle-shower-mixer_p5050122 but there’s a valve to connect a hose or shower head but my shower head is already up top - not sure if I’m making sense! TIA!

Re: Is it possible to change these taps to a mixer?

Hello @Susushie

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your shower taps.

Yes, you can use the Quoss Reno Transformer Freestyle Shower Mixer in your shower area. Once the Quoss has been attached to your tapware the outlet at the top will need to be capped with a Brasshards 15mm Chrome Plated Brass Hex Cap LF. The outlet will now be fully concentrated to the Quoss. You can then attach any shower rail of your choice such as the Methven 5 Function Amio Rail Shower WELS 3 Star 9L/min for example. There over a dozen choices available at the store, I suggest going for a visit and see which one meets your needs.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
