Good day, are you able to give me advice on how to connect a handheld spray on a skirtted toilet model?

Please note that some states have very specific rules regarding the installation of a bidet sprayer. It might be necessary to engage the services of a registered plumber. I suggest checking the rules and regulations of your local council before you purchase parts for the sprayer.
I also recommend having a quick look at this discussion - Best drill bit for vitreous china (WC)? by @bazzyboy. They used a three-way connector to attach the bidet seat to the cistern tap.
If you are allowed to install a bidet spray, I suggest visiting the store and having a look at the sprayers available.
