I have just into a new property and had my old washing machine but I can’t find any inlet to connect the houses. That’s only the connection I have here and that’s closed. need help please. Thanks

Thank you for your question.
These are just twist on caps which can be removed by rotating them anticlockwise.
If you have some trouble removing them by hand, you can use multigrip pliers to grasp the caps and rotate them off.
