How to connect new shower head hose?

G'day,

The new shower head I got has a female connection at the end of the hose, but the existing head has a male connection on the end of the hose.

Is there an adapter i can get to be able to use this hose or will I need a different shower head?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's marvellous to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about your shower head installation.

Would it be possible for you to post a picture of your current shower head? Can you please place the end of the shower hose next to the bottom of your shower head so that we can see if the sizes are relatively the same? If they are the same size you can get a Brasshards 15mm Brass Threaded Hexagon Nipple and Plumbers Tape and join the hose and head together. However, if they are not the same, I'm afraid your only other choice is to get a new shower head.
