How to connect washing machine outlet tap bigger than the hose pipe?

My washing machine outlet tap is bigger than the hose pipe. The hot water hose and tap fit perfectly but the cold water tap outlet is bigger. How do I fix it? I am a total novice so dont have much experience with such kinda stuff. Appreciate your help 🙂

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. Its sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your washing machine tap.

Generally, I would recommend changing your tap into a Brasshards 20mm Chrome Loose Nut Mini Washing Machine Tap. But in order to make sure that it is compatible we'll need to see how your current tapware is set up. If it is not compatible, we'll need to recommend another type of tapware.

Would it be possible for you to post a photo of your washing machine hose in line with the cold tap so that we can see how much bigger it is. Once we see what it looks like, we'll be able to make recommendations on how to proceed.
