Hello @Anakinsparker

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your washing machine drain.

I suggest having a quick look at this guide - How to connect a dishwasher (the techniques used are applicable to your washing machine). My best advice is to make sure that the wastewater inlet has been properly drilled otherwise the water will not drain properly.

Hello @tai-tai

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us.

The part in your hand is called an S trap nipple plug. It is used to cover extra washing machine or dish washer inlets in your sink trap. The store equivalent is the Deks PVC Trap Dishwasher Outlet Cap, it works exactly the same way, simply push to fit and tighten the rotary clamp to secure.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
