How to finish edge of tiled splashback?

I’ve just had a tiler complete a splash back in my en-suite but has left the raw edge of the tile.
How do I finish this myself? Paint? Grout? Silicone?
Thank you

Re: How to finish edge of tiled splashback?

Hello @cindym7854

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's marvelous to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your tiled splashback.

Two items from your question would be the most straightforward way to finish the edge of tiles. Painting and using silicone to cover the edging are the easiest ways to cover the edging. Another method would be to use aluminium or plastic edging. But it may change the look and feel of your splashback if a border was applied to it. Using grout is also promising, but it is very messy, and your hand must be very steady in order to create a uniform edging.

Here is a handy step-by-step guide: How To Silicone Seal A Bath. (The techniques used are applicable to your project)

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
