How to fit washing dryer combo in the laundry?

Hello community,

I recently bought a wash tower combo to fit into my laundry. The depth with water pipes are not enough to fit the wash tower completely. Two of legs are not completely on the platform

I am thinking to add a bigger wood board to balance out the washer.

looking for suggestions

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your washer/dryer combo.

Your idea of adding extra timber footing for the laundry machines would be the expedient solution rather than gutting the inside of the cabinet to sink the machines further into the cabinetry. If anchored properly to the footing of your existing cabinetry it should provide sound footing for your laundry machines. My best advice is to keep the extension to minimum so that it does not become a tripping hazard.

may I ask if I can make that kind of wood at bunnings?

i don’t have the tools to cut and link the wood at home

You'll need some basic tools if you wish to make this extension. You'll need a hand saw, drill, tape measure, drill bits and a pencil to build the stand. The store carries the materials for you, but you will need to build it yourself. However, if you don't have the tools and you've never attempted to build something like this, I suggest engaging the services of a handy person or carpenter. You can show them the design you are after, and they will build it so that it fits under your washing machine cabinet. You can advertise the job on Hipages or Airtasker to get a quick quote.

My first suggestion is the same as @EricL 's, But as you dont have tools needed maybe there is a workaround instead. (Tho I prefer @EricL 's suggestion)

Instead of adding to the overall width of the base, How about installing a slightly larger board within the area where you have your washing machine combo. Practa 2400 x 600 x 25mm Black Laminate Worktop Cut to approximate size (Bunnings can cut down a sheet for you but its an approximate cut not an accurate cut). All you need is the piece to sit within the area and extend out towards the front by 40mm. I can see the feet sitting right on the edge of the melamine atm so an added 40mm should cover any movement. I would also check periodicaly if you go the route that the feet are still sitting on top of the existing structure and the washing machine hasnt walked itself forward a little.
