How to fix Bosch Aquasecure hose leak?

I moved house last November. A few months later I discovered a leak in the Aquasecure hose. Please see the photo and video for the location of the leak.

Given my Bosch WAW28620AU washing machine is 5 years old, I figured it might be time to replace the hose. Unfortunately it's leaking at the same position after I installed a new hose.

So what could be the problem here since it occurs with both old and new hoses?

One point I want to add is it did take a few attempts to screw the hoses onto the tap. Moreover, I tighten the nut onto the tap by hand with no tools. Water pressure coming into the house is regulated at 500 kPa by a pressure limiting valve.

You might like to try nipping up the nut slightly with a set of multigrip pliers. You could find that hand tightening isn't quite enough to seal the internal washer. Do not tighten the nut forcefully, as it could crack; just slightly tighter than what you can get by hand. If it still fails to seal, although unlikely, there may be an issue with the mini tap threads.

Unfortunately, this type of fitting does not react well to having thread tape added, as it can induce leaking elsewhere on the fitting. If you continue to have issues, it might be worth employing the services of a plumber to take a look at it for you.
