Hi! I bought the pictured showerhead set a year or so ago and its recently begun not working properly, water leaks from around the edge of where the plastic faceplate meets the metal showerhead itself and the faceplate seems to be wobbly now. I’ve tried unscrewing the faceplate and trying to pop it out with a screwdriver to see whats going on but can’t seem to remove it. Is this a fixable issue or do I need to replace it?
Hi @basilbeam,
I'm sorry to hear you've had an issue with your showerhead.
There aren’t any serviceable parts inside the showerhead itself. The wobbly faceplate and leak around the edge usually indicate that the plastics have worn and have been pushed forward under water pressure, which is what’s causing the leak.
Since your showerhead is only about a year old, it should still be covered under warranty. I’d recommend taking it back to the store where you purchased it with your receipt. They'll be able to assess the unit for a warranty swap over.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
