I am trying to fix my bathroom sink dripping tap but cannot get the tap off
i have unscrewed the H on top but then can only unscrew the handle to a point then it becomes stuck
Hello @Maryindi
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your basin taps.
Your handle is stuck because of limescale deposits sitting inside the spindle. I suggest using a rocking motion on the handle going left to right and forwards and backwards to loosen it up. You'll notice that eventually it will come loose and you'll be able to remove the handle to replace the jumper valve inside. There are no other parts to remove the top head screw is all that you need to remove in order to remove the handle. You can also try using the handle of a hammer to tap the sides of the handle to get it moving.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
