How to fix broken drain tile supports?

Hi there - looking for suggestions to remedy (even if temporary as is a rental) this situation? Tile moves when walking on it and is a bit of a hazard. The little support knobs are snapping off for some reason. I might just ask landlord to fix but if there’s a cheap non-permanent option I’d rather just do that so we can live with it. Thanks.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your shower drain.

In the interim, I suggest putting Surface Gard 8mm Clear Round Rubber Bumper - 25 Pieces on all the interior corners of the tile drain. This will keep it in place and prevent it from moving around as you step on it. I recommend wiping the surface of the tile surround with DIGGERS 125ml Isopropyl Alcohol - 125ml to remove any grease or oil on the surface.
