My shower glasses have a crack and it's increasing bit by bit . Anyone can help me how to fix it? I don't have a big budget and I live in a rented house. Please any suggestions would be grateful.
Can anyone help me to fix this crack?? I am in a rented house and I don't know how this crack came and it's increasing bit by bit. My inspection is in few days , need to fix till that time. Any suggestion would be much appreciated.
Hi @Ayesha89,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
Unfortunately, once a glass pane cracks, there's no way to return it to its original state, and replacement is the only real solution.
To help anchor it until a time when it can be replaced, you can apply multiple strips of painter's tape perpendicular across the crack. This will help to reinforce the crack to prevent it from extending further.
I'd recommend speaking with your leasing agent about organising a glazier to replace the glass.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi @Ayesha89,
I just thought I'd jump back on to remind you that there are always risks when working around glass.
Please remember to wear enclosed shoes, gloves, long protective clothing and eye protection when you are dealing with glass. There is always going to be some potential for the glass to shatter, and it is always better to be safe than sorry.
