Apologies if this has been asked before but the right hand door plug down the bottom has broken off. My husband went to Bunnings today but was told the aisle to go to but he couldn't see anything suitable. Can you suggest anything, the cupboards not being used so any advice would be helpful, even to hold the door on. Thankyou
Hi @ShirleyJean,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
Is it possible to get a photo of the hinge on the left side door?
Does it look like the one in this post - How do I fix a broken door stop on an under sink laundry cabinet?
Unfortunately, any part of this kind would likely need to be ordered as a spare part, which would require us to identify the manufacturer of the laundry tub.
If you can have a look at the laundry tub for the name of the manufacturer, we may be able to find a suitable replacement.
Let me know what you find.
Jacob
I couldn't get a photo of the left hinge because the door was in the way and I didn't want to break another one. Down the bottom was a round but that broke off but I can't see a brand on the sink but I might be able to Google and see if I can see it, thanks
Hi @ShirleyJean,
What does the top of the laundry cabinet look like?
It might help us narrow down our search to see what the whole cabinet looks like.
Jacob
I couldn't find anything on the internet and I couldn't find a brand on it either, thankyou
Hi @ShirleyJean,
Unfortunately, I couldn't find a laundry unit that resembles the one you have.
We need to see how the other door is attached to have some hope of finding a solution.
Can I trouble you to take some photos of where the doors attach to the unit and the corresponding locations on the doors? Even if you can just open the left door and take a photo of that back edge. Any further information will help.
Does it look anything like those shown in these Door Reversal Instructions?
Let me know how you go.
Jacob
