How to fix leak from shower base?

Apart from engaging a very expensive leak detector, is it possible that the leak is from the silicon? I have recently had a new shower base replacement, they are coming to check but I want to have a basic knowledge before I hear from them about any other possible problems. I don't want to leave it leaking for too long. Worry about mould.

Did you have any photos from the inside of the shower? Can you see any gaps in the silicone inside the shower?

You've taken photos of where the leak is exiting, but the issue is more about where the water is getting out of the shower area to allow it to leak out here.

It's possible that there is a gap in the silicone on the inside of the shower, or that the drain is not adequately sealed, allowing water to get in under the tiles.

As you've stated that you've recently had the shower base replaced, you are well within your rights to expect this defect to be rectified at no additional cost to you.
