Hey Experts

The whole house has no issue but I have got low water pressure shower head on one area ,,,,,,Is that because of a restrictor or could be clogged in the pipe or a quality of wall top assembly set

Re: Fix low water pressure shower head

Hi @zillah,

If that is the pressure when the hot and cold are turned on full, then it is very low. The first thing to check would be if the filters/flow restrictor in the head/arm are blocked. Try unscrewing the arm from the wall and checking inside the end to see if there is a clogged filter. There might also be one in the connection between the head and the arm.

If these filters are blocked, that could result in the low flow you are seeing. If you can't find a blocked filter, then it might be worth replacing the shower arm and head with a Flexispray Bermuda 3 Function Hi Rise Shower WELS 3 Star 9L/min. They are relatively budget-friendly and easy to install. The reason for replacement is that calcium and limescale build-up in the jets on the head could be limiting flow.

Here's a helpful guide: How to change a showerhead.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hello @zillah

Thank you very much for the update, I'm sure Mitchell will be happy to know that the suggested shower head provides a better spray.
