Hi, A little bit of grout has started peeling from my bathroom tiles (thankfully, not in the shower area). Should I use the Dunlop Ready-to-Go Coloured Grout to seal the part that has come out? Thanks.
Hi @hf,
Thank you for your question.
Typically, at a corner junction between tiles, you'd use a flexible sealant as opposed to grout. This is because junctions are the spaces where the most movement happens, and grout, being a rigid material, is prone to cracking, as you are experiencing.
I'd suggest removing the grout from this junction using a Grout Saw, then replacing it with white silicone.
This will seal the gap, look aesthetically pleasing and it will not crack like the grout has.
Check out How To Silicone a Gap for some guidance on the process.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
