How to fix scratch on shower base?

Shower floor (plastic) has a scratch — what would you recommend to repair it?

Re: Shower floor has a scratch

Hi @nat-deo,

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

It looks like a fairly superficial scratch in an acrylic shower base, which is good because water shouldn't be passing through it.

I'd suggest using this Rust-Oleum 13.3ml White Tub And Tile Touch Up Kit to both fill and paint the crack.

Start by giving it a good clean with some warm, soapy water, then scuffing the crack with some 400 Grit Wet And Dry Sandpaper. After scuffing, clean it with fresh water then allow it to fully dry.

When it is fully dry, you can use a craft brush to apply the epoxy paint to the crack.

Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Great advice. THanks Jacob, I'll follow those steps

Re: Shower floor has a scratch

Pretty good result! @JacobZ
It's a bit lighter, I'll work on the rest of the acrylic base to lighten/clean it, and I think the lightness difference will reduce over time…
Thanks for your help.
