Recently noticed my shower screen door isn't closing properly. It seem to be getting catch up on it self.
Hello @AshMac11
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your shower screen.
Just a friendly reminder that working with glass is dangerous, an accidental hit with a tool or when too much force is applied can make the glass shatter and cause injury. Please remember to wear personal protection such as rubber gloves and goggles when handling glass.
Generally speaking, when a glass screen door goes out of balance it's because one of the hinges has become loose or the rubber grip inside the hinge has failed. The more uncommon cause is that the frame of the shower has come loose and is no longer square. It is not easy to repair and parts for the shower hinge can sometimes be difficult to source.
I propose engaging the services of a professional shower installer. They will be able to diagnose if the shower frame is no longer square or the hinge mechanism has failed and needs replacing. Using a professional to repair the shower will guarantee the work and is covered under a warranty.
