How to fix water leaking into toilet bowl?

After reading some previous threads, I suspect it could be the washer that needs to be cleansed or replaced. My question is, what model is this flush - I know it's a Geberit, but unsure of the model. And how do I lift the top section up so I can inspect the washer?

As Geberit isn’t one of our suppliers, the most reliable source for the exact model and instructions would be to contact them directly, as they can confirm the model number and give guidance on accessing the internal parts.

That said, replacing the washer is usually straightforward once you can access it. There are aftermarket washers available, so there’s a good chance you can swap it out with a generic one from us, but first, you need to get to it. Toilet flush valves can come apart in a few ways: sometimes the whole unit twists anticlockwise to release, other times there are small tabs you need to press to separate the pieces.

For your unit, it looks like the top section needs to be removed first. The ratcheting piece on the side may have a small push-button tab that needs to be pressed to lift the top section. Once that’s off, you’ll see the white and blue button assembly, which seems to have a cap with four tabs around it. You’ll likely need to lever or press those tabs to remove the cap. Underneath that, at the base of the mechanism, is where the flush valve washer sits. It’s mostly a matter of carefully locating and releasing the clips, which retain the flush valve unit.
